vs Team Gravity - Wombo Combo

Ashe. Bard. Gragas. Lulu. Ekko. This is the team composition of Ekko's dreams. Bard and Ashe can setup the long range initiations for Ekko's Parallel Convergence, while Lulu and Gragas provide additional utility and disengage. CLG showed how powerful and easy setting up these wombo combos were in multiple teamfights through out the game. Admittedly despite a 3-0 start from CLG, the team did not quite have the cleanest grasp on closing out the game. But in one memorable moment, CLG demonstrated how their team composition excels at drawn out fights: After Xmithie gets picked off, Aphromoo lands a Bard Ultimate, ZionSpartan throws down his Parallel Convergence, and Doublelift lands his Crystal Arrow. Doublelift started the fight all the way in the bottom lane, when the fight itself was initiated at the inner middle turret. CLG managed to win the trade three to two, despite being a man down. The team continued to pick off Gravity's entire team with all three of their long range initiations and won the game.

vs Enemy - A Tempered Fate, For Our Enemys

Aphromoo saw Lustboy's performance on Bard last week and decided to one up it this week by playing not just one, but two stellar Bard games. It was the messiest game of CLG's Summer Split so far, but ended with a win after a long grueling near 50 minute game. Enemy's Otter proved his worth on Vayne by outplaying our players in several scenarios and Innox elongated the game by providing massive wave clear and poke against CLG's rotational based team composition. No matter how fast CLG could rotate and take down minion waves and towers, Innox was always there on Xerath to stall. It took a forced team fight at dragon (NME had four dragons to CLG's two) and an exhilarating Tempered Fate + Emperor's Divide combination to take down NME's nexus.
