Introducing FugLy

It was not easy finding a player to replace Pujan "FNS" Mehta, who had played for so long with our CS:GO team before the team had even joined the CLG organization. We were looking for a talented and experienced player who had a positive attitude and the drive to win. It was important not only to find someone proven, but also someone who would be able to fit in and work with the team right from the start.

FugLy has played CS:GO competitively for the past two years and shown that he is a consistent player with the capability to make plays and be a team player. He has played for LunatiK eSports, Denial eSports, and most recently Team Liquid. After trying him out, we knew that he was the player we wanted to complete our roster for the new year.

"CLG is a top tier organization in North America and I know that our future looks really good with their support and their involvement with the CS:GO team," FugLy said when asked about his thoughts on joining CLG. "Anything we need, whether it be a bootcamp or hiring a guy for analysis they can do for us."

"My strengths would definitely be being a team player and trading efficiently! I am not afraid to go in and revenge a kill if needed."

 - Jacob "FugLy" Medina

It hasn't been very long, but FugLy has meshed fairly well in the short time the team have been practicing. "Playing with FugLy has been very good and progressive already. He fits in with our lineup really well and I'm excited to work with him," said JDM, one of the veteran players and AWPer on the team. "He's a down to earth, motivated individual and a very humble dude."

The Head Coach

Pita is a long time Counter Strike player and won several major tournaments from 2009 - 2012. In the past couple years he worked with the Ninjas in Pyjamas as their head coach and helped lead them to three major finals. Pita will be able to provide a better infrastructure and more efficient practice regiment in comparison to last year. We could not be happier to have him on board and cannot wait to see what the team will look like with his contributions.

"With the addition of pita as a coach, it means strict "EU-esque" practice habits," FugLy said regarding pita's involvement with the team. "I won't go into details, but with his help I'm convinced that we will do great things."

When asked about his expectations for the team pita said, "I have no expectations, only goals. We will take it one step at a time and hopefully be able to compete versus the best today."

Looking Towards 2016

Last year our CS:GO team had many exciting wins, close matches, and tough losses. We made it to all three majors, but could never quite make it out of the group stages, despite having great individual performances against some of the best teams in the world. With the addition of FugLy and pita, we are looking to improve on our performance from 2015, both on the domestic and international stage. We look forward to showing some great and exciting games for our fans and CS:GO fans around the world.
