I don't know about you but I play normals, and I always call ss and people die coz they ignore it, it is useless in normals. Last game I said ss, the Brand died and he blamed me for not saying ss fast enough and I said when he came out of lane. Then I get reported for not saying ss fast enough -.- . And no one actually looks and cares about it. Anyone else have these problems?

As a support player, I know how you guys feel when your "ss call" was missed or ignored. But no matter what, most of the time calling lane misses is very useful. Most of the players do follow the chat and they read your "ss".
Calling "ss" or "inc" is one of the most important parts of team play. During the game it might be hard to say whether there is miss from someone`s lane or this guy is just in the bush. So all your warnings impacts the game hugely, they may prevent gangs and save your teammate or they might give your team a hint for a good moment to initiate a gang/buff/baron/dragon.
Of course looking on the mini map and buying wards is important but you`re calls help your teammates more than you think.
