HeroicCookieI was wondering if anyone from Riot had any advice for me. Whether it's how I can do better in my classes, or advice for later on when I'm looking for an internship or a job. Thanks!

Assistant Producer
My advice is to finish projects. If the project can't be finished given your time or energy, define smaller projects. Go from beginning to end as many times as you can to maximize your ability to learn and improve.
Good luck!#29 months, 2 weeks ago -
Game Designer
Don't just look at things from the viewpoint of a designer. Look at them from the perspective of the player.
Play lots of games, especially ones other people like. If you don't like them, play them to understand why they're popular.
Be critical. Nothing is flawless. Exercise your mind by figuring out every negative detail, then think about how you would improve it.#39 months, 2 weeks ago -

Also - games are increasingly rarely a ship and then done. Define a scope that you can not only finish but also "release" and "patch" and "expand." Practice not only going from idea to finish, but also iterating on customer feedback.
Much like a writer needs to write write write write to get better, so must a developer go through the whole process many many times to become a master.#49 months, 2 weeks ago
