I would love to say this is my first post, but it's actually my second. My char name is Drogith and I live in NH. I'm better known for my status in the SC2 community as a LAN tournament organizer. I've successfully organized and held over 6 LANs in various LAN centers across New England with cash and door prizes a plenty. I also play LoL when I have some free time.
I wanted to introduce myself because I came upon a problem that has turned into an opportunity. One of the LAN centers has shut down leaving me with a scheduled date, and no place to hold, though someone has answered the call. This company wants to have a big event than just a single tournament, they want to have an all-nighter with multiple tournaments, and I suggested LoL.
So as well as being my introduction post, I wanted to see what kind of interest the LoL community has in joining this all night event. After a brief conversation with the company, we are looking at $10 door fee and then an additional fee depending on what tournament you want to enter. It will probably be $5/person but nothing is concrete(that would make $800 in total prizes for 32 teames). It would also take place on September 17&18. So, even if you don't live in the area or can't make it, let people know about it so I can try and get this thing going in short notice.
