George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis"Why Nunu Why"22 years old, from CanadaThe founder and owner of CLG, HotshotGG is one of the most recognizable players in the history of League of Legends. He is famous for his Nidalee and Cho'Gath play and has literally defined how these champions should be played at the highest level of competition. HotshotGG has the record for holding the #1 spot on the North American solo ranked ladder for a longer period of time than anyone else, and was also the first person to hold the top two positions on this ladder at the same time. HotshotGG won tournament MVP honors at IEM Cologne in 2011 and has led CLG to six major tournament victories. -
Steve "Chauster" Chau"All planned"25 years old, from United StatesA founding member of CLG, Chauster is widely considered one of the most diverse and knowledgeable players in the League of Legends competitive scene. Over his time with CLG, Steve has played every role and is best known for his skill with Ezreal, Lee Sin, and Xerath. Chauster took Doublelift under his wing when he rejoined the team in 2011 and how led the duo to being regarded as one of the best bot lane combos in the world. He has influential in all six of CLG's major tournament victories. -
Michael "bigfatlp" Tang"h4h4"21 years old, from CanadaA founding member of CLG, bigfatlp- formerly known as bigfatjiji, has long been regarded as one of the best solo lane players in the world. In competitive play, he is known for introducing the power of Anivia, Twisted Fate, and Rumble into the highest levels of play. Bigfatlp has not only held the #1 spot on the North American solo ranked ladder multiple times, but is the only player to ever have held the top three positions on this ladder at the same time. He has also played a major role in six of CLG's premier tournament victories. -
Peter "Doublelift" Peng"Everyone else is trash"19 years old, from United StatesDoublelift exploded onto the scene when he was recognized as a premier talent by HotshotGG on the North American solo ranked ladder. Peter introduced the professional scene to Blitzcrank, a champion previously considered unplayable in the highest level of competition. After a brief stint with CLG, Doublelift played for numerous other top teams and expanded his champion pool greatly before rejoining the team in 2011. He has held four accounts ranked in the top 10 of the North American solo ranked ladder concurrently, and has helped the team to four top three finishes. He also won ggChronicle's Best AD of 2012 award and was voted to the North American All Star team for LCS in 2013. -
Austin "Link" Shin"Get crushed"18 years old, from United StatesFormer member of CLG Black, Link became known for his vast champion pool and his "Lee Sin Great Escape" video. After CLG Black disbanded, Link joined the CLG main roster as an alternate, and quickly proved himself worthy of the starting position. In his starting role, Link has continuously displayed his vast mastery of the game, being the first to debut Syndra and Xerath in NA LCS. -
Zach "Nientonsoh" Malhas"World Class"18 years old, from USAPrior to League of Legends, Nientonsoh was a highly ranked Heroes of Newerth and World of Warcraft player. Upon entering the LoL scene, Nien quickly made a name for himself as a prominent AD Carry player in NA climbing to rank 1 on the solo queue ladder multiple times. Eventually, Nien was made a starter on former LCS team, Marn. His mechanics and game impact were immediately felt. After having shown his potential in LCS, CLG recruited Nien to be their new top lane player.
